To make an appointment by phone

Tel: 01388 811 455
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 1:00pm & 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance, this enables us to offer an appointment at a time more suitable for those patients that require them. The doctors prefer for children under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult, however this may be waived depending on circumstances.

Appointments are usually for ten minutes unless it is for minor Surgery or a medical examination, which takes longer.  Please inform Reception if this is the case.

Appointments are available daily for those patients who wish to be seen on the same day who feel that they have an urgent medical problem.  In these cases patients are asked to contact the Surgery before 9:00am if possible.  For urgent medical problems a Nurse Practitioner or Doctor will always see you on the same day.  However, we are unable to guarantee the Clinician of your choice.

Please remember the following points:

  1. Arrive in good time for your appointment
  2. Let us know if you are unable to keep your appointment
  3. Try not to save up multiple problems for one appointment. A longer appointment can be made if necessary.
  4. The GP can see only 1 person in an appointment slot

In addition

Patients aged 16 – 74 who have not been seen for 3 years, may request a consultation for a health check. (Home visits may be arranged for those unable to attend the surgery).

Home Visits

Home visits are between 8.00am – 6.00pm and are at the discretion of the doctor. Please do not ask the doctor to visit unless the patient is too ill to come to the surgery. Please remember that we can often see patients more promptly at the surgery where we have better facilities for treatment. Where possible – please contact the Surgery before 10.00am to request a home visit.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
