Asthma / COPD Checks

By appointment only with Practice Nurse
The Practice Nurses can give advice on all aspects of Asthma and COPD management, including inhaler techniques, and have access to a large range of informative leaflets.

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Checks

Provides support to patients who suffer Respiratory Problems such as Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema. The check provides patients with regular review of their condition, measurement of respiratory flow, smoking advice and an assessment of treatment.

Diabetes Clinic

Dr Paul is responsible for the Diabetic Clinic which is held on Monday Afternoons 2:30pm – 5:30pm (Appointment only)
Extended Clinic available on one Monday per month

Practice Nurse led clinic on alternate Fridays

Hypertension and CHD (Coronary Heart Disease) Checks

Provides support to those patients who suffer with High Blood Pressure and Heart Problems. These checks provide support to patients in the management of their condition, regular monitoring and testing, advice, diet and healthy lifestyle.

Minor Surgery by arrangement:

The removal of warts, moles, cysts, ingrowing toenails, verrucae and injection of joints can be undertaken at the surgery, saving you the time and bother of a hospital visit. Please make an appointment to see the doctor if you think you require any of these services.

Cervical Smears: Appointment only

Women aged between 25 & 50 are advised to have a cervical smear every 3 years. Women between 50 and 64 are advised to have a test every 5 years. This is a simple quick test which may detect early changes in the womb. If these are treated straight away cancer may be prevented from ...
